The fixed knot fencing is the strongest type of farm fencing on the market and it has a large fixed knot that locks line wires rigidly to one-piece vertical pickets. Considered the strongest knot available, it provides maximum strength by absorbing impact and spreading the load. No exposed ends which can snag or injure livestock.
The solid structure fence adopts a solid lock structure, which is mainly used for the wild outer fence to protect deer, horse, cow, sheep, goat and other cattle. It can be installed quickly and with fewer fences. This means that fixed knots reduce costs and reduce maintenance compared to other wire constructions.
The fixed knot is manufactured to Australian Standards AS 2423-2002 and zinc coated to AS/NZS 4534-2006. The fixed knot also comes in a Premium option where it is Heavily Galvanised and 2.8mm line wires at top and bottom; 2.5mm high tensile line wires with graduated spacings and 2.5mm vertical stay wires. This is top of the range of fixed knot fencing
